I did a trail run this morning with some experienced runners - boy I’m slow. Anyway, the run put over 40 miles for the week. I should probably stretch, but I may just take a nap.

Had some cramping in my glutes and calves on my Friday, so I shortened my run even more. Beyond some cramping, it has been an easy week of running. A few more days of short runs and then the big one on Saturday.

Another tiring week, but my runs felt great. Especially the long run on Friday - even though my legs were in a lot of pain and my joints had swollen up, I still kept moving forward and PR’d a marathon. The race is less than two weeks away and I’m filled with mixed emotions. I’m excited, scared, yet also glad to get it over with and finally have closure to all these training.
Going to spend these last few days to stretch and rest.
Definitely a tough week of running which included my longest run yet and the most mileage I’ve accumulated in a week. The previous week was a bit of a let down when I bonked at mile 14 on my long run and I had to cut my it short by a mile, but this week, things went a whole lot better.
First of all, the weather in Seattle is finally starting to feel like Spring! We are having the sun come out more and it is warming up enough where I can put away my scarves. With the nicer weather, I ended up doing all my runs outside instead of on a treadmill (hooray!).
